This picture of a group of fishermen carrying their fishing net was taken at Chowara beach. The beach which stretches for miles long is known for its quaint fishermen village and endless rows of coconut trees.

Facing the Arabian Sea, Chowara Beach is one of the many beautiful beaches in Kovalam. It is located about 20km from Thiruvananthapuram and 4km from Kovalam Town.
