Telling Asian Stories
To an untrained ear, a Zebra Dove (Merbok) singing is no different from another. However, experienced ears will easily pick up the notes from every single bird, even if they are surrounded by them on 20-foot poles that are about 15 to 20 feet apart. The value of the bird is virtually priceless for someone who appreciates the beauty of its singing because each bird has an individual, unique voice, that cannot be duplicated or replicated.
