Mak Yong (Part 1)
Mak Yong is a Malay dance drama tradition found primarily in the north eastern Malaysian states of Kelantan/Terengganu and the Patani region of southern Thailand. Recognized by UNESCO in 2005 as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity, Mak Yong encompases elements of dance, music, acting, singing and storytelling.
