The Hiroshima Panels

The Hiroshima Panels are a series of fifteen painted folding panels by the husband and wife artists Maruki Iri and Maruki Toshi. The Panels depict the atrocities of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as well as other nuclear disasters of the 20th century. Fourteen of them are now being displayed at their permanent home at The Maruki Gallery in Higashimatsuyama, Saitama, Japan. The fifteenth panel, Nagasaki, is on permanent display at the Nagasaki International Cultural Hall
