For the last couple of months, 1600 Panda MY have been travelling to 15 locations all over Malaysia to create awareness as well as to convey an important message from World Wide Fund for Nature – Malaysia (WWF -Malaysia) regarding the significance of environmental preservation to every corner of the country.
The number 1600 represents the number of pandas left in the woods when this campaign was launched back then. A Mr Paulo Grangeon, a French artist is the designer of these cute paper-mache pandas in various sizes.
The tour made its last and final stop in Publika, Solaris Dutamas, a shopping mall in one of the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur where on the last day all 1600 paper-mache was taken up for adoption.
