We crossed path with this beautiful Indian gypsy girl as we were enjoying the evening breeze by Lake Ashtamudi in Kerala, India. She was as carefree as the wind while her family was busy preparing dinner under a nearby tree.
According to the locals, there were initiatives by the Indian government to provide proper homes for the gypsy community but they refused and prefer to continue with the ways of the gypsies living as nomads. Maybe the wanderlust lies deep in their veins.
We love this picture as it reminds us the meaning of being a true traveler. We wonder under which stars she sleeps tonight.
