Some people regard the durian as having a pleasant sweet fragrance, whereas others find the aroma overpowering with unpleasant odour. There are hundreds of durian varieties and flavours to choose from. We met Mr Leow Cheok Kiang, a very well respected figure in durian circles to talk about some of the durian types. He is the person responsible for registering the well praised Black Thorn durian in Malaysia.
